To build a technical generation with national competencies, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology launched the initiative to localize technology centers to develop applications under the patronage of His Excellency the Deputy Minister, Engineer Haitham bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ohali, and it was carried out in partnership with 12 companies, including Slnee. Although the goals of this initiative are multiple, creating job opportunities and achieving economic development through qualifying and developing emerging national competencies is among the most important of these goals.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology also sought through the initiative to exchange expand technology to numerous local communities in various regions of the Kingdom by, thus encouraging and supporting the private sector to invest in 23 centers, ensuring a future of socially conscious and innovative generations at the same time

In conclusion, the steps taken to launch this initiative were courageous, more than 41,000 have been trained which directly impacts Saudization in qualitative fields of communications and information technology, more than 21,000 have been hired since its launch, and contributed to the rate of 56% Saudization goal, and the rate of women’s participation to reach 24.7%.
